Installed with standard Lutris .exe installer
Feels a bit sluggish, but this is early beta so ...
Would quickly crash until I unplugged my controller. Ran fine after that.
Installation failed for cbt3
Tried to install winhttp through winetricks to get the installer to work
My previous report was for cbt2 so here is an update for cbt3. Someone on Steam forum said they could install after having manually added the DLL called winehttp. I tried that but it did not work. My entire cbt3 was borked for me and I had to boot Windows to play :sadpanda:
I tried Nazgulsenpai's solution below me. It crashed my display drivers completely. Had to reboot. I also tried Vivi The Goblin's solution with Proton Hotfix: Game did not boot. I also tried exciting-burp's solution of using proton 9.0-3 with the launch options. This made everything in game turn black, except UI and the sky... As it is now, the game is basically unplayable for me on Linux :( Just can't shake that Windows installation :/
Just black
Display Driver crashed completely
Hate to say it, but stay away for now until some genious comes up with a better solution.
Was hoping the new GE version would do the trick. It didnt. Still runs like mud compared to the old 7.0-6 version which was flawless :(
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command% -dx11
sluggish af
As I was finishing this "review", I decided to try proton 9.0-3 and remove the launch options (because they dont do anything as far as I can see). It actually seems to have made it run a bit better. But... still cannot compare to 7.0-2
Runs completely perfect out of the box. (Only setting proton experimental is OOTB in my book)
Setting your proton version is considered tinkering? Uh... ok...? This game runs out of the box. Completely flawless, no issues whatsoever. Just install and play.
