Works Great!
On Inferno T-Spawn low FPS on pretty low settings
gamemoderun LD_PRELOAD="" %command% -maxVram=5120 -refresh 144 gamescope -e --force-grab-cursor --expose-wayland -f -r 144 -- env LD_PRELOAD=./libsuperblt_loader.so %command%
Sometimes works, sometimes buggy. Had to add a Virtual Source and Virtual Sink for a big pro audio interface running on pipewire.
Blurriness on some textures
Heavy stuttering, if ran without Vram limit, using 100% GPU Memory
Wayland mode unusable, overlay either slows game down and when disabled cant buy keys for example.
Only runs on Xwayland with bad performance, VRam usage completely through the roof, unplayable natively on wayland, infinite shader compiling times (uses 100% CPU, can be temporarily solved by removing directories in shadercache)
LD_PRELOAD=$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/lib32/libjemalloc.so.2 %command%
Good until now, have to wait for servers to get updated after the most recent patch.
Installed all the missing dependencies shown by ldd
and used execstack -c bin/engine.so
on the engine to get it to start. Been a while so i don't fully recall what I did, but it wasn't difficult. You'll find out.
Works great, except for the servers on most recent patch.
Works pretty well
Game half-froze after a heavy impact with the screen flashing like crazy, but being able to still drive and navigate the menu
Works well, played on lowest settings because of my old GPU, but otherwise runs perfectly out of the box.
Works almost perfectly without tinkering
Little bit of flickering sometimes, nothing too crazy
Only added the redirect for winter15.gosredirector.ea.com
to 127.0.0.1
in /etc/hosts
and otherwise the game runs perfectly without any issues, crashes or frame drops out of the box with Proton 9.0-3.
The game is great and all, but playing it on linux without intensive patching and whatever is not possible.
-disable-client-correction false -Client.VisualFrameInterpolation true -GameTime.MaxVariableFps 200 -RenderDevice.VsyncEnable 0 -Ant.InterpolatePoses false
Weird audio artifacts with the launch options I used
Game Locked and horrible performance issues without launch options. With the launch options, game was running smooth, but camera was so buggy that it was unplayable.
Tried using FMM, but got stuck on the symlink issue. Then tried the launch options from the patch (brawltendo) alone, which made the game run smooth, but the camera was spazzing out and some weird things were happening. Apparently there are ways of fixing that, but I don't want to spend more time figuring out, how to get the game running smoothly. Maybe I'll get back at a later point and give an update if I try the patch.
