Unless you need to use the chats, you can play.
Guild chat and world chat can't connect, can't download the whole data because it disconnects you, but you can play.
Better than 1 year ago aswell, said same thing for POE
I can't believe how well it runs, 1 year ago i struggled with alot of stutters and crashes, now it runs like butter on native + runtime, proton experimental, 120 fps locked maxed out on my specs, there's like an insignificant stutter when you first get into a match or anything, 1 second or 2, then it runs with zero problems, i love it. Future is bright for linux gaming.
Game launches, i suspect game would run perfectly fine if it wasn't for EAC
The error is saying failed anticheat, hopefully proton can fix it soon.
No errors but doesn't launch.
Game seems to want to launch but fails, it hangs. Left it for an hour and still didn't launch, downloaded the proton battleeye runtime aswell, i suspect they will fix PUBG soon.
Hi-Rez needs to add better proton support. One match works then it's not playable at all.
Proton-7.0rc2-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Kicks me out after 1 match because of EAC probably.
Still kicks you out
No matter the proton version, the dx11 disable or anything else people said, it still kicks you out, shouldnt even be given a bronze, the game is borked for now. Soon maybe
Amazing since i last tried about 1 year ago on Manjaro, i've gamed on Windows since, but i decided to try again on my Manjaro install
Got steam native+runtime, but i mainly use native, installed, launched, no shader-precache and no background processing of vulkan shaders. Got in the game, let the game decide the recommended graphics settings, chose vulkan (beta) instead of DX11, logged in, and i got a smooth 75 fps experience, zero stutters and ran just as well if not better than windows, i am impressed and very happy, i can finally use Linux as my main OS for everything.
