The game started working today 10/24/2023, I'm using big linux based on manjaro and I also know it's working, now it's up to you to try again as a game again.
First I tried using epic games through lutris, the game didn't work every time I started it got a black screen, then I tried with heroic games and the same thing happened black screen again, and finally I used bottles and it worked normally without problems
My game after a while would crash my entire system, I had to keep restarting the PC to be able to try to open it but it always did this, and recently I discovered that the problem was in the game, it was leaking RAM memory both in Steam and in Lutris, in short I managed to solve this by putting more memory in the swap, I have 16GB of RAM and I used the ZRAM program to be able to compress 8GB of my RAM memory and now the game is working perfectly, by the way I had tested this on Debian with KDE and it worked but with Archlinux and KDE it is perfect.
I downloaded Epic games through lutris and then downloaded the prey, and it worked perfectly

After a few days of being able to run the game, I was using a distro called big linux disteo from Brazil, but when I entered the game it kept crashing, I tried everything but I couldn't solve the problem in this case, so I decided to go back to good and old Linux Mint and now the game is running smoothly without any crashes, I can say that it is running even better than Windows,
