Doesn't launch for me with later versions of proton. Perhaps because my system is such a mess.
No other issues. Works with Proton 5.13-6.

The Linux version of the game would keep crashing for me whenever I looked around in game, so that's why I chose to run the windows version under proton. Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, it works fine this way.
Game works with Proton 5.13-6. To fix clipped text, install the Windows core fonts on your system.
Installed core Windows fonts on my system.
For Debian (and Ubuntu too I think), this meant installing the ttf-mscorefonts-installer package.
Works forcing proton 5.13-6. Game is rather laggy, but it's not a dealbreaker and someone with better specs might have a better time.
Will occasionally break out of full screen only to return during loading, but will always correct itself without intervention.
Noticeable lag in multiplayer, although could be due to servers.
The tutorial box is the only thing that I found that is completely borked - it cannot be exited unless (as others have mentioned) you click on your profile in the top right.
Works out of the box, although as others have mentioned it only works under proton 3.16-9 for whatever reason.
When fullscreen, there are white bars on the side. Don't know if this is intentional or not.
When entering a new level, there is a significant FPS drop for a few seconds.
