There was a problem where when I used a controller I could not equip certain boons without using the mouse to do so. Easily worked around by using the mouse briefly then returning to using the controller.
Game runs fantastic just like it would on windows under Linux Mint 21.2 with no tinkering required. Only a small problem in the menus here and there where you sometimes have to use a mouse instead of a controller. Easily worked around and not even sure if it's a Linux specific issue.
Not unbearable, and only happened intermittently, but was enough to be noticeable here and there. Could maybe be fixed by trying another proton version. May test later and update.
Runs flawlessly out of the box without changing any settings.
Game unfortunately runs very poorly even on lowest settings. Game was playable on Windows on low to medium settings at 1080p 60 FPS.
Game's resolution was out of focus. Fixed by alt-tabbing out and returning but it would do this every session.
On Windows, the game runs at a smooth 60 FPS on low to medium settings. Even on the lowest settings here the game slows to a crawl after about 5 minutes of play and then crashes.
Unplayable unfortunately. Conclusion is to run this under proton you need to surpass the minimum requirements by quite a bit.
Worked out of the box like native
Zero problems and no tinkering needed. Great experience.
