I tried every tweak suggested here and have not been able to work around the massive performance hit I'm taking.
ATC doesn't seem to work
Running this game makes my entire system crawl. The game itself will run (with noted launch options) , but the performance hit is massive and changing the graphical detail does not improve the situation.
Game locks up every few seconds and makes machine unresponsive.
Some versions of Proton are missing the interface video. GE-Proton7-43 worked best for me.
Game runs 20-45 fps regardless of graphic detail settings.
Game does not support monitor selection, so getting it to work in a secondary monitor can be tricky depending on your setup. My i3 setup required creating a shotcut to move to my external display because dragging to another workspace was not possible (game disables mouse).
Gamemode did not help. Using Radv AMD driver.
