Tried using proton experimental, GE proton, as well as proton 9. All of them resulted in a black screen on startup but audio would go through. Switching to Proton 8 not only ran the game and did not black screen, but ran it extremely well.
Voice recognition does not work. Microphone does not work in lobby (but does in game)
Voice recognition will not work (Windows obviously, Vosk is 50/50), so your best bet is to set your voice recognition to TEXT so you can still use items like the spirit box and Ouija board. Your in-game voice and global voice works fine, but the game will not recognize commands like "Show yourself."
If you're having audio issues, ensure your inputs are correct with something like PulseAudio Volume Control.

After the 1.0.1 patch, and limiting my CPU topology, the game runs flawlessly with no signs of FPS drops or memory leaks.
Runs natively without proton, but EAC won't run resulting in kicks unless launch option set.

Tried running with Proton 9 and experimental, and the game would crash. Game said that it works natively with Linux, but EAC won't run without a launch option. Experienced no artifacts, lower frames, or issues with EAC.

Had to lower my CPU count, as the game cannot handle a threadripper. Devs released a hotfix which should optimize more powerful CPUs today however. After forcing the game to use only a few CPU cores, and launching EAC through commands, it runs perfectly offline and online.
