Out-of-the-box only initial launcher worked. Installing all the redistributables within game directory with protontricks fixed the problem.
Installed all the "*.exe" in /Dragon Age Ultimate Edition/redist/ with protontricks
On KDE with Wayland the game runs many times better than it ran for me on Windows 11.

Out of the box the game defaults to (in my case) non-working Vulkan, which instantly crashes the game. Had to change "renderer_type=Vulkan" to "renderer_type=" in /pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile/production_Config.ini in order for game to start. For fixing the Vulkan I followed: https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/1ed0dbg/poe/ and used the provided precompiled library. Preloading it in the Launch Options lets me use Vulkan, which seems to have a slightly better performance for me.
Path of Building installs and works great. Awakened PoE Trade install and works great (linux version).
Given that I'm using a non-gaming laptop, can't really judge the performance. But for my standards it ok-ish. Slightly better on Vulkan than on DX.
