The game worked perfectly fine. I managed to finish the first chapter with any issues whatsoever.

I tried to disable full screen but then everything became transparent, I had to kill the process from the terminal.
Before launching I disabled uplay's overlay just in case, because I read that it used to gave problems in other games. It might actually work anyway, it was only a precaution.
