sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.ping_group_range="0 1000" Without the above command (I am not sure what it does, I saw it in another report here) the servers don't seem to work.
After a couple seconds it says, that it can't connect to the server.

Can't load a game except for the Snow Arcade Special (no Quickplay, the other arcade mode or even vs AI). Either (according to the proton version) the game will load to 99% when joining a match or after choosing a character there will be an Error: Video memory... popping up

Crashes
EVERY quick play leads to an "out of video memory", interestingly only once have I finished a match vs AI. Every 3-4 games of the special mode crash (tried with the Dancing Lions, Jeff’s Winter Splash).
Delayed loading of matches (hangs at 99%, the announcer can be heard, the match has started when one loads)

Gives a Windows style error message after installing epic games libraries I assume: "Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed"
Servers are up but sadly no playerbase
The demo is a bit scarce in terms of content so keep that in mind but the gameplay at its core is the same
After Alt-Tab I had a black screen and had to restart the game
