Only works on Old versions of Glorious Eggroll
Launching on all standard versions of Proton (including new Glorious Eggroll versions fails with a: "shader: failed to compile vertex shader" error.
No screen displayed, attempted on a few versions of Proton, including experimental.
Is it possibly AMD related as there seems to be mixed reviews and I am seeing a lot of AMD specific builds failing in the list.
Looks like custom fonts are missing and replaced with Ariel when compared to a native windows launch
Cursor was being detected far off and required me to aim far up-and-left of the location to click the options I wanted. (resolved issue by maximizing and un-maximizing the windowed mode, only works in non-maximized windowed mode).
Does required the "PROTON_LOG=1 %command%" tag to turn on. Otherwise the game will not launch.
Runs fine except for cinematics
Some screen tearing on cut scenes
FPS seems capped at 60, which is odd because the settings specifically allow you to set the cap to a max of 100. Also, the menu screen seems capped at 30FPS, but not sure if that is a universal windows thing as well.
Cut Scenes work mostly (i noticed a little tearing), however cinematics DO NOT. You need to ESC out of them and skip all of them to get the game to work. People report having to wait... it is likely you need to wait until the end of the cinematic before the game works.
The game RUNS and it runs pretty well, but no cinematics are available. Given that the game has a number of them AND starts with them on all campaigns it might confuse new users into thinking the game instantly died.
Needs cinematics fixed. Can be bypassed by ESC'ing out of all scenes, cut scenes work.
PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_LOG=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 ENABLE_VKBASALT=1 %command% -nolauncher -nosplash
Game didnt boot initially. I was able to get it without any issues once I used GE 9-22 with the options listed above.
Tested and worked on SMITE. For anyone looking to do it: I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and moved the following files:
Take the *.so files from here - .../.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/EasyAntiCheat
and put them into their appropriate counter part here: .../.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/Win64/EasyAntiCheat .../.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/common/SMITE/Binaries/Win32/EasyAntiCheat
Works fine. Not a downloadable game though...
Its just a movie. It launches in the browser.
