The frequent crashes are game breaking and system breaking. Which sucks, because it works fine otherwise

Pausing the game has a high chance of freezing my entire system to where I have to power cycle. Can't alt + tab and can't ctrl + alt + F3. Lose all input to my computer. This happens most often in Vermund.
