The latest upate enabled crossplay between Steam and Epic Games. This seemed to break it for me on Steam, as Epic Online Servers were not detected, so the game would not launch. However, playing it through the Epic Games Store (using Heroic Games Launcher) was nearly flawless. The only thing I would say is to turn off video tooltips in the options menu, as those seemed to crash the game for some reason.
Like others have mentioned, this game does not show you what's behind it on Linux. This seems to be due to how Linux desktop environments handle displaying fullscreen games that don't actually use up all of the "realestate". Since this game is in fact a fullscreen game, the desktop environment fills in the remaining area with the black background. Messing with transparency does not affect this. My guess is that we will need a way to tell the DE to not fill the unused space with anything for this to work as intended on Linux.
