Changing graphics settings in the launcher will be problematic in game mode. Use desktop mode instead.
Videos do not work.
I tried Proton-GE, which made videos sort of work, but they were still not displayed correctly on the latest version.
If you want to change the graphics settings in the launcher window, you're going to have a hard time exiting out of the graphics settings menu in game mode. Either do this in desktop mode, or bind ALT+F4 in game mode.
The launcher can sometimes appear to be frozen on startup and not respond to inputs, opening the steam menu and closing it again seems to fix that.
Make sure to download a fully compatible version of Proton like GE-Proton7-21 if you notice that the game launches without showing the Spike Chunsoft logo video, or the main menu background is just a video-unplayable test image.
Custom proton versions may force 16:10 support when the game only really supports 16:9 aspect ratios, so you may see some unintended behaviour at the top and bottom of the screen.
At 60 FPS, you should be able to achieve around 4 hours of battery life. Limiting framerate to 30 fps might even get you 5 or 6 hours of battery life.
