Game works fine out of the box, though controls are vague. Gyro and stick movements are funky and quite often don't give a desired outcome.

Game launcher didn't work out of the box with default version of Proton. Once I switched Proton to GE-Proton7-41, the game started fine. I played this game on my windows PC before, I don't know whether it helped, because, unlike other commenters, I didn't do account linking (maybe I did it already some time ago when was playing EA titles on PC via Steam), just switched Proton version to GE, and it was enough to make game playable.
Game launch takes some time, a couple of minutes or so, for that time it might look like game doesn't response or not going to start, just be patient and give it a few mins.
