Online doesn't work (usually freezes), but it is playable offline. Hopefully Easy Anti-Cheat will start working with Proton in the near future.

<Alt>+<tab> while fullscreen will lose the ability to use inputs, while fine in borderless windowed
Make sure to use borderless windowed mode so that <Alt>+<tab> won't affect the game.

"Fatal error" window appears before main menu unless these lines were added in /etc/hosts:
0.0.0.0 see-siren.os.eidos.com

Added WINEDLLOVERRIDES=openal32=b %command% in launch options according to GloriousEggroll's comment before he released this updated Proton build.
Some conversation scenes in Mass Effect 1 will stutter. Haven't got to start Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 yet.

I'm using Proton 6.1-GE-2. Wouldn't launch at all on Proton Experimental at the time of writing
This happens when the game's been on the menu for a significant amount of time, and would need to restart the game to fix. If you need to take a long break because of meal times or whatnot, best to quit the game.
