I think runs better through proton than through the native Feral version. excellent experience.
minor triangles in some pit enginners
i used to be able to run the game natively in Linux mint 20.1, though when i switched to Ubuntu 21.10 it didn't seem to work. I then forced to run it with proton experimental and worked flawlessly right away, except for initial low fps in the menus (this was completely disabling navigation but got fixed when resolution changed from x720 to x1080). don't know if this last thing was circumstantial.
i used proton experimental, and in-game graphics worked well aside from menu flickering
in the menus, should not be a problem
in order to get the FFB to work on your wheel, you have to load new lg4ff module from github, search for it and follow the instructions. it is said that for rfactor based games this is what enables force feedback.
