Unplayable on Windows, but works 100% perfectly on Linux with Proton.
It seems that Linux now is really the only possible way of playing this game. And it plays it really well.

... next day, it worked
One day it doesn't work. The next it does. I don't know if this was my system causing the fault, or something that got fixed and updated, but suddenly it went from black screen on one day to working perfectly the next.
