Game runs fine. Had bad audio crackling issues, which can mostly be fixed with the launch command in this report.
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=180 %command%
Launch options heavily reduced the crackling
After the launch command, the game's audio has a slight, half second crackle maybe every 20 minutes or so.
There's slight audio crackle problems on WIndows too, so I don't think its a Proton/Linux problem.
No tinkering needed. Runs out of the box.
Game runs completely flawlessly on my system.
Framerate is cut in half compared to Windows. Especially when there's visual effects. Loading screens also take way longer.

Changed renderer type from "Vulkan" to DirectX12"
Controller would sometimes randomly disconnect, putting me back into the main menu.
Framerate is significantly lower than Windows
The game on start-up would be completely black. Only fixed by changing the default renderer in the poe2_production_Config.ini
config file located in ~/steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2694490/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Path of Exile 2/
.
This being playable or not depends if you're able to stomach the low framerate. Seems to be some type of NVIDIA issue.

My framerate was sitting around 45-30fps. I thought that this might've been a Linux issue, but I tried the game out on Windows and it's the same.
Your experience will probably be better if you have better hardware than me.
Performance is not that great, but it rans the same as Windows for me. No noticable graphical glitches, input issues or audio problems on Wayland.
Installed MS Gothic font
Game wouldn't play correctly without installing one of the required fonts (I installed MS Gothic). After doing this, the game runs completely fine and basically the same as Windows.
