Will work except for audio issues.
Cutscene video is fine, audio is busted.
Silas never comes back after Episode 8 on the train, leaving me perma stuck in bullet time, progress is bricked.
Changed resolution manually in configuration files.
- Requires some configuration of resolution in files manually, no 1440p support
- Requires proton experimental otherwise will crash after helicopter scene
- Regular proton versions won't have PhysX which is a headache to install separately
- Game doesn't remember your custom keybindings after each session
If you can get the combination right, it runs really well all the way to the end of the game.
Even though Native switch to Proton anyway
Switching from native to Proton does not remember saved games, all progress lost
Random crashes either when restarting checkpoint or randomly in stage
Frequent CTD's
I would just switch to proton right away even though it can run natively just to make sure that crashes don't occur when far into the game, switching too late may destroy all your progress and native doesn't detect 144Hz whereas proton does.
Surprisingly worked OOTB
Actually had more problems on Windows with this game, but on Linux this ran perfectly without requiring any sort of modifications.
