--skip-launcher
Since I use MangoHud to limit FPS, I use the --skip-launcher
option. But the game works without it too.

Having Easy Effects enabled (with pipewire audio) and spotifyd running caused quite a bit of cracking noises. Disabling them made the game run almost without issues.
Have a compositor like picom degrades game performance, and even hangs it. Its almost unplayable. After killing picom, I was able to play.
The game freezes a lot, and recovers sometimes. And other times it just completely hangs.
I played this game on Manjaro with KDE installed by default, and was able to play without running into any issues (I had already submitted a separate report for it on here). The other games I have also worked without any issues.
However, I wanted to try i3 on Manjaro, and hence installed it side by side with KDE. This report is specifically for the i3 setup. And I should note that Picom (compositor) also affects the other games i tried on i3 as well.
mangohud %command%
I use mangohud to display FPS & other related info. Its not necessary for playing the game.
On Manjaro Linux with i3, I just kill the compositor (I have picom) before starting games. Otherwise, the games have a lot of stuttering issues & also hang.
Also, I didnt have the steam version of the game, as I bought it from GoG directly (so you dont need to change the launcher to Heroic).
Works without tinkering, but has low FPS issues
I was getting quite low FPS for this game (15-22), given my hardware. For contrast, I can play Baldurs Gate 3 at medium Graphics with 30-35 FPS easily. And Counter Strike 2 at 40-50 FPS.
__NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia mangohud %command%
Adding the NVIDIA flags is necessary for picking up the NVidia GPU in a dual GPU system like mine (NVidia - Intel with the Hybrid Nvidia proprietary drivers). Otherwise the game tries to run with Intel GPU and struggles with low performance as mentioned in my previous report.
