EOS has been implemented, and it appears for the time being that Epic has blocked any attempts for Linux to play.
Moved EAC folder to Archon/Binaries/Win64 to no improvement
Have attempted multiple versions of proton, and moving the EAC folder, like I did with heroic launcher just 5 days ago.
If on aging Hardware the extra strain from running on Proton might make it not an enjoyable experience
Steam Overlay doesn't seem to work properly no matter what setting. Thus Steam input is mostly pointless unless you change the Desktop config to what you want in-game.
4690K is not enough for this game on Linux at least
Cannot log in once in-game
Originally I had issues running it with a 4690K. However, now that I have hardware from this decade (5800X), it runs buttery smooth. As an added bonus, if you use Proton Experimental (as of this report), you can now have proper steam overlay and thus steam input support!
Runs flawlessly even on an aging GPU by VRAM standards
Despite my GPU having a paultry ~6GB of VRAM, Lies of P never once used more than it needed to at any one time. Most games will not garbage collect the VRAM when run through Proton, due to Windows handling it for them usually.
I experienced buttery smooth gameplay and it was a treat.
Game runs quite well, no issues maintaining 60 FPS in most situations, even on my aging 4690K. A few stutters here and there but nothing bad
Despite what you might expect, you can mod the game I've spent over 200 hours in a fully modded playthrough on Linux. Depending on how many mods you have installed it can have some stability issues with how often it crashes, but it's a bethesda game so; ¯_(ツ)_/¯
