worked fine
videos/cut scenes cause black screen but still goes into menus and game play
keyboard didnt have any input with proton 6.3-7 with glorious eggroll proton 6.21ge2 worked perfect
servers offline
there is still servers found at https://www.h1emu.com/us/ but i dont know if it will run under only wine
can load into the game fully but after playing for a few seconds to a minute it just force closes without any errors
not sure if eac problem or a missing .dll or something causing it to crash
no tweaks or anything just latest proton started right up and worked great can connect to private servers but official server just boots me back to server select so maybe a eac issue
only non-eac servers
for anyone having trouble finding servers dont start the game yet, on steam click view and then servers, change the game filter to rust and not secure anticheat and it will show you all eac disabled servers you can play
