Works out of the box. Both the launcher and game.
Unlike on Windows, the Vulkan version works flawlessly.
It works out of the box on my hardware.
As always, I recommend using the official Ubuntu Steam .deb or Flatpak installation as proper glibc is provided.
Game can't be launched anymore, EA Play does not seem to open (but it seems to install).
This used to work out of the box some months ago, but now it can't be launched anymore. I tried many of the recommended methods here, to no avail. The EA app presumably installs on every Proton version I have tried (7.0.6, Experimental, GE-Proton8-32), but it does not seem to launch, just as the game. I suppose this is an EA Play related issue, because the behaviour is the exactly same for Mass Effect and other EA games as well. It is a bummer, how custom launchers mess up an otherwise perfect experience.
Works out of the box on Steam Flatpak.
The EA launcher is a bit clunky, but it is just as bad natively, so I guess no surprise there :)
