Proton 4.11-13 is the only proton version recommended by Steam that boots Animal Well, all others either don't boot the game, or the screen freezes on first frame of main menu while the music plays. When the game boots up, it plays an ear destroyingly loud crackle, followed by no audio. Everything else works.

Looking at the other protonDB reviews, it seems this problem is specific to Linux Mint.
