-dx11
Game prompts you with DirectX 12 unsupported prompt without any tinkering. Modifying its launch options to include -dx11
fixes the problem and the game runs flawlessly afterwards.
Surprisingly runs better than on Windows. Great experience and no major problems. !!My launch options only apply when using FPS Booster!!

I'm using "FPS Booster" and "Loading Screen Mod Revisited" mods from the workshop to improve performance, I highly recommend to use them. You can skip the "Patch Loader Mod Installation Guide" of the FPS Booster mod with my launch options, as it uses the mod's loading script directly and even bypasses the Paradox Launcher. I also have V-Sync disabled in game.

The only minor issue I've found is that exiting the game safely from the UI doesn't work for me, but Alt+F4 exists and doesn't cause issues so I'm fine with that.
The game works great as long as I play with Proton 7.0-6, otherwise there are extremely annoying stutters every 2 seconds.

The game kept periodically stuttering every 2 seconds when using Proton 8 (also tried using GE-Proton-8). Switching to Proton 7 fixed the issue. I've noticed in a log file this error also occuring once every 2 seconds (both Proton 8 and 7): Failed to find library for L"Windows.System.DispatcherQueue"
.
I don't use linux native version, because I want to mod the game using MelonLoader, which currently has issues modding the native version.
