Works perfectly on linux.
Had quite the fun playing it. Better than windows experience :D
Works out of the box like a charm.
-nojoy -novid -fullscreen
renamed the "videos" folder to "videos.bak".
after applying the fixes, the background of the main menu is missing, meaning its black
Except my horrible net connection, no issues.
When I started the game after installing, I was presented with a complete black screen and then after a while, it crashed. Had to do some research and apply quite a bit of fixes. Adding "-novid -nojoy -fullscreen" as launch option and renaming the videos folder fixed the problem for me. It might work OOTB for you or it might not. Here's a useful github issue link: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/csgo-osx-linux/issues/2643 If you're having the same problem, you can try the solutions here one by one and see what fixes the issue for you! :D
It's a fun game runs great on linux!
Works perfectly. A great multiplayer experience. But the number of players is not much.....

Worked perfectly fine out of the box. Better than native tbh.

For me, starting without tinkering gave flickering textures. Couldn't play it at all and some options (i.e resolution setting and tesselation) were missing from settings menu. But switching to older proton version made the game run flawlessly!
