If you want to change proton version you need to reinstall whole game. Also put ubi connect to offline and disaple cloud sync
Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 6.3-8, Set launch options, Lutris
uplay://launch/4
Need lutris to open Ubisoft control
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
proton experimental and newer than 6.3.5 did not work. Serious lag until launch options set and cloud syncing disapled.

Simple solution that was hard to understand. Proton offers directX version that causes game to crash
Launch Flags:Use D9VK
Game do not support directX 10 / 11 well mentioned. One must give code PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% BEFORE installing proton version. Changing proton version will reset this.
