Nothing to change/add. Just install and match away!
This game runs butter smooth and stable on the Steam Deck and looks pretty fantastic. This is one of those cases where the visuals and portability enhance this game from decent to recommended. A blast on the SD.
The game no longer appears to work on Steam Deck. I did a fresh install in Gaming mode and launched it which prompted the EA Play client to install. After the install was finished, the game closed out. Now with every launch it will load to a black screen briefly, before closing again.
Changing proton settings, going to desk mode and tinkering with the files did not resolve this issue. As of March 2023 this game appears unplayable on Steam Deck (presumably due entirely to the EA Play client)
Since this is a puzzle-ish game, playing at 40Hz (or lower) doesn't negatively impact gameplay, whilst saving on battery life!
Game features UI Scaling options which help alleviate the small text somewhat.
I imagine an extended session in Endless Mode might affect performance though I have not tested this myself. The game runs great and is a joy to play on Steam Deck with the default controls working very well.
No slowdowns, achievements unlock correctly, control scheme works, battery drains quite slowly even with 60Hz. The resolution options of the game change the UI size quite a lot so you can change that to suit your comfort level.
As with many other puzzle games, reducing refresh rate & fps won't negatively impact the game, but might offer more battery life in case you get addicted to playing.
