Too many stutters/freezes. Wouldn't make for an overall enjoyable game-time, even with the D9VK launch option.
Heavy frame drop and freezing whenever I attempted to leave the main menu or put down a note/book. This freezing would persist for a few seconds (<10) and would go back to gameplay. Otherwise, solid 40-60+ fps.
Switching window sizes occasionally froze up my desktop, but I'll chalk it to i3wm not playing nice with Wine
Audio seems to be totally reversed, or at least it all sounds like it's happening far away from it should be. Gunfire fired from in front sounds like it's coming from behind.
It's amazing that you can get used to audio problems like this, but it definitely impacts the enjoyment. If there's a command to fix this, I'd give the game a platinum for the time being. Otherwise I'd consider it maybe a silver or gold.
On first launch the Rockstar launcher crashed. Hasn't happened since but it's still annoying to be forced through the launcher every time I launch the game.
Runs well. Arguably better than it would on newer versions of Windows, since I didn't need to install GTA AIO or anything of the style. Social club launcher is garbage but it's not a problem overall. I would recommend lowering the refresh rate to 40 for compatibility reasons, it appears smoother even though it is able to run 60 fps.
Game worked flawlessly, was an enjoyable playthrough. Doesn't require touch-screen functionality as the trackpad functions as a mouse by default.
