Insurgency: Sandstorm
Tinker Steps:Set launch options
VK_ICD_FILENAMES=/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/intel_icd.i686.json:/usr/share/vulkan/icd.d/intel_icd.x86_64.json MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=xe %command%
With the Intel ARC A770 (DG2) GPU, testing the new xe driver (not the i915 driver), I had to: (using arch)
yay -S linux-drm-xe-next-git linux-drm-xe-next-headers-git
cp -r /lib/firmware/i915 /lib/firmware/xe
yay -S mesa-git lib32-mesa-git
Then I edited the PKGBUILD directly so that it includes the intel xe driver and ran
makepkg -sif
Finally, add the command line options.
A typical gamer won't have to do this.
