Runs out of the box, but the intro movie seems to be borked on all versions of Proton.
Even on other Proton versions where the opening movie played, the audio was missing from it.

The game without the boot option ran at a speed that was too fast for the game. This game should be run with the FPS cap.

On boot, the game launches with half of the screen displayed and the other half blank. Resolved using Alt-Enter
The game runs well, but there are a few issues that occur. The biggest glaring one is that in order to run the game, the locale needs to be changed to Japan, which is not an issue on the Windows Steam release. Additionally, although the option is there on Windows, on Proton there is no ability to change the font, which may prove to be an annoyance to players.
It's perfectly playable out-of-box with minor visual glitches, and the main text should never end up crossing into the cropped area anyway.
Going fullscreen cuts off the bottom section of the screen, which makes it jarring as the bottom "Click" text is half-there
The game was built with the Georgia font in mind, so it is recommended to install it before playing.
