Runs perfectly on my Linux desktop! There are a few bugs that are also present on Windows due to it being an Early Access game while I'm playing.
Game freezes while compiling shaders before Start menu is accessible.
Will suddenly freeze and need to be restarted after an inconsistent amount of time running without other issue. Earliest freeze was after 2 minutes, but have played for about 30 minutes before freezing.
The character creator thankfully autosaves frequently enough that not much progress is lost from restarts.
Worked perfectly out of the box.
I've only played the base game, not the DLC at the time of this report.
[Demo] The game runs but the audio and graphical issues were distracting.
Audio would stutter during scenes with many particle effects.
Regardless of settings game ran at 40fps during gameplay and 30fps during cutscenes. Likely that the cutscene framerate is intentionally locked.
Dualsense haptic feedback works perfectly.
Runs well out of the box but needs setup for PlayStation controllers.
Dualsense controller not detected until Steam Input was turned on.
Only Xbox controllers have native support so I needed to turn on support for my Dualsense controller within Steam's settings for the game to recognize it. Xbox controller icons still display while playing but that's not bothersome to me.
Runs out of the box but very poorly optimized.
Higher resolution textures take a long time to load in.
Framerate drops significantly during weather phases with increased foliage. Average 80-90 FPS in normal weather, 40-50 during special weather.
Game froze requiring PC restart; occurred three times over 40 hours of gameplay.
Similar performance as reported on Windows, for better or for worse.
Had framerate issues the first time I opened the game but setting "Activate DirectX 12 API" to "ON" from the main menu fixed it permenantly.
I've had a blast playing this game on Linux with my friends! Performace is the same as when I played on Windows 10.
