Only shows a blank window with an "ok" button.
Changing permisions and using proton did not fix the issue.
cd ~/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/"Arma 3"/

Was able to open the launcher, but it would not start the actual game.
Got a not responding message when launching.
I got it to work after uninstalling it and deleting all its files then installing the proton 7.0-1 version.
Works out of the box
Interestingly, it works better on Linux than on Windows 11, where it would refuse to launch.
I would not recommend playing this game at all on linux unless you are fine tinkering with the files for a couple hours. Just play on a VM.
Changed the game settings manually through the local_config.ini file
In order to enter fullscreen I had to change the local_config.ini file every time before startup
Framerate frequently drops
Unable to change settings in game menu

Repost because my hardware was wrong. I use my dedicated Nvidia GPU for graphics.
Opened launcher only
The launcher would open, but it was at a higher resolution than my display. After trying to launch the game it would crash and did not display any kind of error message.
