In the first cutscene fight the graphics are so choppy that the game is pratically unplayable
Let's just say RIP Laptop GPUs. I had the same issues on my Windows Desktop with a RTX 4060 where cutscenes were 30fps and the game itself ran somewhere between 70-120fps except for my laptop it's 15-60fps on the same settings
Half of the issues I described are also a problem on Windows as well the game is poorly optimized the graphical issues are a Linux thing because the graphics appeared normally on my Windows 11 Desktop. If you want to run this game on Linux proceed with caution
You need to install GE-Proton from GloriousEggroll's Github page to even be able to play this game. There are instructions on the internet on how to do it my favourite's are always from independent sources. Afterwards it works perfectly as intended by the developers
Runs just as expected. I prefer to use Proton-GE to run my Steam games but it's buttery smooth and I have zero complaints
Game runs at 1080p at 120fps on an RTX 3050 Mobile. Anyone can enjoy this game if they make a few easy tweaks
Disable reflections in game. Runs perfectly after that even in Tartarus
Force Steam Play for PS5 Controller
If reflections are enabled game will stutter and affect frame rate in Tartarus. Disable reflections to fix this
Persona 3 Reload runs perfectly and all of the cutscenes run just as intended even the world outside of Tartarus. The main problems are reflections in Tartarus where you have to disable them to get a smooth experience and if you're using a PS5 controller on Fedora force Steam Play so you can use the controller with the game
Weird artifacts appeared on my other monitor in Hyprland when I fullscreened the game otherwise game looked fine on the monitor I was using to play the game
If you're using hyprland expect some graphical glitches on secondary displays otherwise the game will run as expected
