Game requires a keyboard (all letters and most numbers) to play. Steam Deck's virtual keyboard works for letters and numbers, but inherently blocks off some input prompts. Turning with Shift does not work with the virtual keyboard, but does work with gamepad mappings.

While the game is technically fully playable on Steam Deck with proper remapping, it's best to just plug in a keyboard.
