Doesn't work at all.
The game displays an EAC window, and opens however a second later, it crashes.

Performance feels worse than on Windows, but doesn't impact gameplay in any significant way, feels responsive as is.
Game feels really good to play on Linux! Just bear in mind that performance is slightly worse than on Windows but it is absolutely not a dealbreaker if you are not aiming for a high refresh rate experience.

Game may sometimes stutter.
The game worked very well for me with a 120FPS lock with the following launch arguments. This was to enable DLSS support as well as enabling feral gamemode and forcing the game to launch in DX12, which provides better performance over DX11 in my experience. Anyone using these launch options on an NVIDIA card should experience no trouble running the game.
Had to change the install script to force the installation of Origin instead of the EA App by following the instructions on this Reddit post.

The game boots and gets to the menu just fine. Able to create your character for the story and start the intro race but will crash within seconds or to a minute of starting the race. Performs great on Deck though however, fluctuates between 30-40 FPS, lock it at 30 for a pleasant experience. Has FSR support which will be amazing.
Lock to 30 FPS, low graphic settings.
An update to my previous contribution, the game now works excellently, locking the game to 30 FPS makes this a great experience on Deck, at low graphic settings and FSR 2 enabled, makes this game look stunning and runs very well.

Runs very well on Linux. Used the following launch arguments to enable DLSS and Game Mode. Was getting very smooth frame rates, performance felt on par or maybe even better than Windows by a little margain.
Lowered TDP to 9-10
During gameplay, there are a few moments where the game dips below 60 FPS mainly when there is more than 4 racers on the screen and at random points during races.
At the start of the game after the Nickelodeon splash screen, the game is semi stuck on a black screen, to get past it, you need to repeatedly press the select button and the start button on the Deck until you hear audio in which then you press the start button and then the game works perfectly fine.
I didn't really need to change any of the graphic settings besides putting them on low to help conserve battery life as well as lower the TDP on the Deck, but other than that, expect 60 FPS gameplay with a few hiccups described above. DOn't know why the game has an unknown rating because it works very well.

For some reason, normal proton gives out for me 80fps maximum on the ultra preset. Switching to GE instantly gave me way better performance maxing out to my 144hz screen. Could even perform better should I uncap FPS.

TDP set to 10
On first few startups, stutters due to shader cache
Really good. Able to find and play matches no problem.
The launch argument I have included is required if you want to play this game. You'll need to install Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime from Steam, just search for Proton EasyAntiCheat in your steam library in gaming mode and it should show up. Otherwise no other tinkers required. The EA app may pose a problem but if you have your Steam account linked to an EA account, you should be good to go!
Game doesn't work on NVIDIA

This game regardless of Proton version, does not get past a loading screen with an error about Graphics Pipeline and this did not happen to me when I tried this game on my Steam Deck. So I can only assume that this game only works on AMD cards right now.
