Game ran just fine without mods, but would not boot with dsfix.
Getting dsfix working was such a hassle. Game works fine without it. After going through the installation steps for the mod and following the winefix instructions from the reddit post linked, I was able to get the game running with dsfix.
Some crackling appear during long play sessions, but go away eventually.
Once I changed the Desktop mapping to a controller mapping, my steam controller inputs were recognized.
Stuttering when loading new areas
A couple crashes, maybe 2 in 110 hours of gameplay.
Had a couple disconnects, but I chalk that up to From Soft's servers. Seems more stable as of late.
I ran into some issues with my AMD GPU in the previous version of Pop!_OS. It seemed to be caused by the old Mesa drivers packaged with that version, but now that Pop!_OS 22.04 comes with Mesa 22, it works out of the box (except for that small controller configuration tweak).
Game runs close to 60fps at 2K, max settings, but I generally run 1080p high. Besides the stuttering (which just seems to be an issue with the game regardless of setup) I'm at a stable 60fps.
