On NixOS, add protonup-qt to your config.nix or home.nix & try the different Proton versions till it runs. Better than on windows for me.

Windowing:Other
1 pixel light border
Won't launch natively, but with a little effort finding the right Proton version, it actually runs better than on Windows for me, save the tiny shiny border. Haven't tried dx12. With more tinkering it might get even better!
