don't use newer proton versions, it launches the game, but crashes if you do anything(even moving the mouse)

It complains about not being able to find the ubisoft connect installation. I tried using Proton 7.0-6, which was supposed to fix the issue(described here https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/6498), but it did not solve the issue.
