Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 8.0-5, Set launch options, Changed configuration

Proprieties > Installed Files > Browse... > delete grid2.exe and grid2_avx.exe from the game install folder (steamapps/common/grid 2/). Also have to delete the compatdata folder of the game (steamapps/compatdata/44350/).
And then "Verify integrity of game files" so they're redownloaded.
It takes a few minutes to boot after this
