If you click play it may just crash and show up croteam crash reporter. To avoid this you need to use protontricks 257420 d3dcompiler_47 and then add launch options: +sfxapi OpenAL +gfxapi D3D11 or +gfxapi D3D12 for directx12 or +gfxapi VLK for vulkan but Vulkan seems to be crashing on nvidia.
