Similar to windows. Alt-Tabbing has not caused any issues. Fix fonts using the mentioned proton tricks.
Customizations:Protontricks
Goto "$steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1154840/pfx/dosdevices/c:/windows/" and delete gdiplus.dll from system32 and syswow64. Then run the following protontricks.
"protontricks 1154840 gdiplus" and
"protontricks 1154840 corefonts"
After that fonts should be fine and not spill out of their boxes.
