Haven't played too much yet but the text on the computer terminals is pretty small. Definitely readable but some people might want to use the zoom-in feature in SteamOS.
Audio mostly sounded great, was hearing some random light crackling here and there.
Haven't played too much yet but seems to run very nicely on Steam Deck. Recently got Remnant: From the Ashes and been playing that with a friend on PC. I've been enjoying the world so much I decided to pick this game up and play through it on Deck.
Frame drops and frame time issues galore.
As others have stated, CrossCode currently needs some love on Proton. Switching between multiple versions of Proton (some latest, some experimental, some GE) and all of them had some form of frame time issues/stuttering, frame drops, and audio crackling. It's technically maybe not TERRIBLE, but it was noticeable enough for me to not enjoy playing. Hope they fix it so I can return to it because the game seems promising.
Crashes at startup still.
Tried recommended Proton, Experimental, and GE. Still seems to crash at startup, unfortunately.
Progress, but still can't log in!
I saw with the newest Proton Experimental that Marvel Snap support was added, so I was happy to give it a shot. However, although the initial issue of not being able to connect to the login server is fixed, I can't actually log in.
For me personally, my Marvel Snap account is connected to my Google account. So when I try to login using Google on the main menu, it takes me to a Google login page, but then gives me an error saying "This browser or app may not be secure", and I can't find a way to continue.
Dips below 60 fps at times. Not sure if this will be fixed with time, but mostly runs smooth.
Didn't work for me in the alpha, but seems like they added support.
Works out of box
Seems like it runs well and lets you play online, no complaints so far.
Graphics are set to ultra by default, so I bumped it down to Medium. Either way it ran good.
