This is totally borked in my oppinion, it uses up all my system resources-on nice gaming pc.
some sounds will only play on 1 side-reguardless of where it happens in the game. all dino sounds come out L side. all character are R side. BORKED
LITERALLY missing a huge portion of the map textures. loads in as grey checkerd. also looks generally TERRIBLE. and uses all my computer resources. i can run most other games on epic. and this game is 7y old. shoud NOT beusing so much for such a terrible looking game. and yeah, i have 3k hours of gameplay mostly on windows from a few years back. it looks NOTHING like windows. how dare u call this native.
my mouse is frequently, but not consistantely about a finger off of clicking. u have to have the mouse a whole button lower to click on things. sometimes turning the screen off and on fixes this.
could not load windows saves. switching to linux means loss of saves.
This game SINKS all my ram. i can't even have a browser open in the background or it crashes... with 16 gb ram on a new gaming laptop
will frequently completely disappeare (crash to desktop).
totally missing ground textures, audio mismatched, mouse accuracy issues, compared to the windows version this "native linux version" looks terrible and totally sinks all the ram on ur pc w/no way to limit it.

added "__" to the file names of: browse local files / videos/ (+ /en/ ) to the disclamer and intro videos. runs smoother but still did not work to solve my issues. Another post mentioned removing all of them to get the game to run.
crashed a few times while alt-tabing
felt like a memory issue where it would start loading far too much at times. reminded me of the age of the game lol, literally from that alone.
hard crashed. causing me to be unable to play.
could not get past a specific mission in the general beginning of the game. after about 1 hour of play i can't walk with Yussif and it repeatedly crashes.
I tried all the commands I could find. I had initial issues getting past the registration, but the menu never loads.

i think the system in the game forces the game to crash. annoying and frequent. not sure i'd play online with this issue, but im able to tolerate it and just deal. hoping when i fix some other issues i am currently having w/wine i might fix it.
VERY HARD to start. it can take 15m or longer some times to start the game before the game runs. i've heard u can try a custom path to start past the launcher and that helps, haven't tried it myself yet.
it crashes and in coop/single player it respawns everything (intended function). gets annoying if i DC in the middle of a camp or boss. this also DC's my husband who is playing coop with me. again, this is an intended function of how they made the game, but just annoying with the frequent crashes.
the forums/devs are very hostile to any bug reports that have to do with linux. very very disappointing. "linux is not officially supported" and thus my report is brushed off.
failed to launch
I tried several versions of proton as well as searching for startup commands. could not get the game to launch for anything. The gethub site mentions a recent update and no one has been able to get the game to launch since then.

Honestly a great game, overall story, effects, building. love the game. feels a bit like its missing some QoL for PC (ui scaling)

Can't connect to my friend to play multiplayer
I was unable to get it to launch without forcing Dx11. -DO NOT install on anything other than main drive. installed multiple versions of proton before it worked.
no issues since.
