Previous reports about crashes were crashes that were happening on both Linux and Windows, due to issues with how the controller implementation changed between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. That issue is now fixed, those reports should probably be removed
Works perfectly on Proton 6.3-5
I had some issues with the cursor disappearing, but that might have been an issue across all platforms, because the game updated and now that issue is gone.
The (SPOILERS AHEAD) Metaverse Enterprises username is "root" (I'm not sure if that's always root or if it's meant to say your system username), I'll have to see what it thinks my name is in Act 3 (I haven't reached that yet, but I'm submitting a perfect report as everything in this version of the game takes place inside a fictional OS which is inside the game, and not in your actual files/OS, so it'll definitely work fine)
Crashes on the splash screen loading window thing.
Broken (maybe specifically on wayland?)
Doesn't work with Proton, traceback says "error: wayland not available" (yes, it is running in proton, so I don't know why it would try to use wayland and not windows stuff).
To get it working outside of Proton I did the following:
- Download the RenPy SDK
- Remove the "renpy" folder from the game's files
- Extract the "renpy" folder from the RenPy SDK zip into the game's files
- Run the game with "python2 /home/puyo/HDD/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Sakuya Izayoi Gives You Advice And Dabs/SakuyaIzayoiGivesYouAdviceAndDabsWithDLCWtihWriggle.py" (change this around for your steam library path) (and change the filename to just "SakuyaIzayoiGivesYouAdviceAndDabs.py" if you don't have the DLC)
