Liked Borderlands 2 since it runs native in linux, wanted to continue my trek through the borderlands franchise and play with friends.

Great game, have 51.4 hours into it at the time of this review, have to turn off V-sync
As with most of the previous reports at this time, use Proton 5.0-10 for the best results. I was able to play using 5.13-6 and 6.1 GE 2 but it appears there may be a regression of some sort as sometimes it takes uninstalling and reinstalling to get it to run but you are kicked out of multiplayer in 15-45 minutes or about halfway through your 2nd multiplayer match on attrition. Proton 5.0-10 works without any hassle, including installing Origin.
I may update this as time goes on as I use linux as a daily driver and have for about the past 8-10 years, although not gaming for as long on it
On a hunch and some research (reddit I think) I found out steam may download a bad copy of the soldier linux runtime.
I am now able to play Titanfall 2 without any crashes, initial play through on Solus 4.2 Plasma was greater than 4 hours. May be worth a look if you guys like a rolling release.
Soldier Linux Runtime may not download correctly, or didn't with my Mint system running 5.4, could be a combination of an older kernel and bad soldier runtime but I doubt it since I am running nearly everything I play now past Proton 5.0, currently using Proton 6.1 GE 2 for Titanfall 2, name is as shows, Das_Ende4844, good luck and hope this helps. Solus may be worth a look if you guys like a rolling release.
Was a great recommendation in the sea of 40K games out there, a good story and nice looter shooter steeped in 40K lore, which I am new to.
You can play with other people but I have not had anyone to play with at this time.
Depends on whether progress not being saved and an inability to play with friends holds any merit to you.
enabled beta no menu launcher option for the game
some infrequent artifacts when trying to load a DLC character, Easy Anti-Cheat keeps you from playing with friends but single player works as intended. Not able to save due to EAC not working properly.
EAC blocks saving the game, research concludes that there is work in progress to address this issue.
