framerate inconsistencies with DLSS/FrameGen on Nvidia
Crashes often while the game uses Nvidia tech
Got crashes and weird framerate hitches/inconsistencies while the game used DLSS and Frame Generation. Aside from that, I also ran into crashes. Turning that off, hiding Nvidia via startup command and using FSR instead made it run great. AMD framegen made the game crash though.
Launcher starts without a problem, but XignCode3 (anti-cheat) still will not run (error code=e0190203)
(DirectX 11 mode) News browser flashes heavily and will not display properly. Updating seems to take an incredibly long time. Will not boot in OpenGL mode.
Big chunks of world geometry are missing/don't load in. I can walk around fine, but can't see where. There was also a persistent flickering, but I could solve that by turning ambient occlusion off.
PROTON_HIDE_NVIDIA_GPU=1 did not solve the issue
There seems to be a problem with loading in textures and the right LOD model. In the worst case this can make the world disappear. Making sure textures are set to Medium seemed to at least make the game fully playable, even if that means you're fighting very low poly monsters on occasion.
does not need extra configuring on Proton 4.2-3
Shows splash screen, a window with a black screen then closes. None of the tweaks work.
boots on non-primary monitor with no way of changing that. Also starts in full-screen in a highly blown up resolution, making it very hard to see the menu. it's however possible to navigate to the options and change it to windowed mode, after which it runs perfectly.
