Game launches, I have sound, but nothing on screen (no video output at all)
Tried all of the previously suggested ones (older than my post) but none worked.
Tried installing the MS cert but did not work.
I tried Proton 8-05, GE-Proton8-32, Experimental, Hotfix, to no avail. I tried all the launch parameters everyone suggested (before my post). I tried installing the MS cert with protontricks, but did not have success. Game launches, I can hear music, but I see nothing on screen. Does not seem to send video output to the monitor.
PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command%
Everything worked normally and seemed to run faster than on Windows.
Recommend not alt-tabbing in and out of the game, as it causes the game itself or Steam to close or crash. As long as you stay in the game, it seems very stable and runs reliably. I did notice that the in-game Steam overlay did not work (no errors, just wouldn't open when pressing Shift + Tab).
One thing to note, is that I am running this on an NVIDIA card, so if you aren't, you might want to remove or not use PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 in the launch options.
Game runs great under GEProton8-13 with launch options as I've indicated, on Debian 12 (KDE). Successfully ran at 120 Hz with epic graphics.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8,version=n,b" PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 DXVK_NVAPI_ALLOW_OTHER_DRIVERS=1 DXVK_ASYNC=1 gamemoderun
Appears to run faster on Linux than Windows 11.
